What grade scale does this use?
This calculator uses the 4.3 scale: A+ = 4.3, A = 4.0, A- = 3.7, B+ = 3.3, B = 3.0, B- = 2.7, C+ = 2.3, C = 2.0, C- = 1.7, D+ = 1.3, D = 1.0, D- = 0.7, F = 0.0.
How is GPA calculated?
GPA = Sum of (Grade Points × Credit Hours) ÷ Total Credit Hours. For example, an A (4.0) in a 3-credit course contributes 12.0 quality points.
Can I calculate cumulative GPA across semesters?
Yes. Add multiple semesters using the '+ Semester' button. The cumulative GPA is calculated across all semesters combined.
Can I remove a course?
Yes. Click the × button next to any course row to remove it. You need at least one course per semester.
