FAQ

Will the alarm sound if I switch to another tab?

Yes. The timer uses Web Audio API which continues to play even when the tab is in the background. However, some browsers may throttle background tabs after extended periods.

Can I set a timer for more than 1 hour?

Yes. The hours field accepts values up to 99, so you can set a timer for up to 99 hours, 59 minutes, and 59 seconds.

What does the circular ring show?

The ring fills clockwise as time elapses. A full ring means the countdown is complete. It gives you a quick visual sense of how much time remains.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Once the page loads, no internet connection is needed. The countdown and alarm run entirely in your browser.

Can I pause and resume?

Yes. Click Pause to freeze the countdown at its current position, then Resume to continue from where you left off.
